To hear the forecast for this GREAT BIG winter weather storm, you would’ve thought we were going to have a repeat of Ice Storm ’09. However, it turned out to be a little dusting and some ice, but nothing major, fortunately.
But to my kids, you would’ve thought a butt load of snow dropped. They got up before 6:30 a.m. to check it out and then joy erupted when they found out that school was cancelled. We made it outside around 11:30 a.m., after I got the baby to sleep. And they enjoyed what little bit of snow they could, making a leaf-filled mini-mini snowman.
This was BEFORE Brennan got smacked with a snowball to the face by his baby sister. Told ya she is her mother’s child.
