Photo-A-Day | Documenting my children throughout the year.

You are what I would imagine Tiny Tim to be.
The small, but powerful creation of Charles Dickens.
Sweet boy, cute button nose, heart of love.
Your soft, stuttering voice – your crutch.
Words like a cushion,
Gentle and kind.
“Momma, c-c-c-c-can Iiiiiii have some
Kooooookies and milk, pwease?”
How does a mother decline such a request?
Even at 10 o’clock at night?
Knowing full well you should’ve been in bed.
But we have cookie dates from time to time,
and this one, not to miss.
Holding the sleeping baby,
I gathered your request.
And choosing to sit at the formal dining table,
Made it a special moment.
My little big boy,
Day by day growing up,
Tugging my heart,
Pulling the strings of my love for you.
Someday, when you’re grown,
When we’ve been through the ups and downs,
I hope you’ll know how very special these moments are with you.
Every day is bustling with living life,
So please know,
You’re a little blessing.
Full of sweet, smart, tiny-voiced charm.
Funny.
Loved from all angles.
Never doubt that we are blessed to have you.
