This idea started whirling in my head this past summer when I was trying to decide if I would offer Christmas-themed mini sessions, and what I wanted to do that would be different from anything I’ve seen before. It started out as baking cookies – how cute the kids would be in Christmas aprons and chef hats, all while creating their cookie creations!
Then, a month later while cooking supper, I had the thought that I’d love for the children to be baking cookies with Santa! And so, I was on a mission to find the perfect Santa Claus, and I did indeed!
I’m truly so happy that I was able to pull of my idea of children baking cookies with Santa Claus. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and each of them got to spend one-on-one time with the Man in Red and he was more than enthusiastic to talk with them, and work with them on their cookie-baking skills. I will be doing a more in-depth post about these sessions with more images, but for now, here’s a little glimpse of Santa baking cookies with my sweet little clients (and one is one of my children!)
