This is the Mississippi River at the Caruthersville, Missouri ramp by Bunge. The moon and stars were showing out tonight, and I needed to get some practice shooting at night. Now granted, I didn’t want the moon to look like a starburst (I’m still learning!), and the colors of the river are a little more amplified compared to the original image, but I loved the blue, star-filled sky and decided to process this image in a colorful manner. And this is for my friend Carol, after our discussion today about her love of the moon and stars.
