I’m working backwards on blogging all of my sessions, but I really, really had to blog this session. I’ve been getting so many compliments on the few images I’ve uploaded to Facebook from this session, whether the compliments are on there or when I’m out in public. Needless to say, this has been a very popular session, and it was a mini-session at that!
This is my third time working with this particular client, who I also have the privilege of calling my friend. She is also a furniture master, with a new venture creating custom frames and furniture from little finds in her searches of old, random places. (Check out her work at Bootsy McFarland Studio on Facebook). So, needless to say, she came up with a little outdoor scene using some of her wares that she found and/or redesigned, and I was in total amazement when I pulled up at the location! I was so excited to see what she came up with and in awe, but God knows, I’d love to have some of those props AND be able to tote all that around at this stage in my pregnancy!
To go along with her total creative scene, the wardrobe selection was just spot-on – her little Miss S wearing the cutest layers of clothing, the striped leggings, and the ever so cute Uggs she was sporting. And of course, Mom always looks gorgeous in everything she wears, not to mention those long, beautiful locks of hers.
Although this was a mini-session, I was definitely happy that I got to shoot this session and so enjoyed little Miss S, since I’ve been photographing her since nine months old. Besides, she’s two weeks younger than my youngest son – I feel an arranged marriage coming on! I’m looking forward to many more sessions with this duo and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next – maybe, just maybe, I’ll hire her to be my set designer! Enjoy the following beautiful, warm-your-soul images from the most awesome session!
