So, I’m sad to admit that it’s been way too long since I’ve posted anything on my blog. So much has developed since my last post in early July, so I’ll begin with this:
Yes, that’s right! We are expecting another little angel in March, and we are all so thrilled with the surprise! I wanted to capture an image of all of my children announcing the special addition, and so on a whim, I carved out a “+” sign and a “1” out of posterboard. I then took my kids out to the edge of town at sunset to capture this simple, yet profound image of them announcing our “+1” to the mix.
I have a deep love for silhouette images, there’s just this emotion that pulls me to them, and this image of my children speaks volumes to me. I will have it printed and framed in my house pretty soon.
So now that the announcement is out there, I just wanted to let you know why I’ve been slacking on posting here. I feel bad when I check my stats and see people visiting my site, some IP addresses pop up regularly, and knowing that nothing new has been posted for some time. Honestly, it’s alot to keep up with when raising a family and running a business while having a day job too. For now, I do keep my Facebook page updated regularly with sneak peeks and announcements, so be sure to like my page to follow my current posts. And I do hope to at least keep more content flowing on this blog as well.
