Photo-A-Day | Documenting my children every day for the month of January. Follow along.
Our Mani.
Or “Armani.”
That was his name when he was given to us by his gracious owner.
Almost three years ago.
But we aren’t the “Armani” type, so we abbreviated his name.
Plus, my kids could never get the “Ar-” part in his name.
He’s a sweet little joker.
Doesn’t like to be held,
But he’ll certainly cuddle up next you during the night.
Poor thing, I’m surprised he hasn’t tried to run away.
All these kids.
Chasin’ him around.
Pickin’ him up knowing full well he doesn’t like that.
(He doesn’t like baths either, for the record).
And rollin’ on his big ol’ body.
He’s like a big fluffy pillow.
Harper has been fascinated with him ever since she discovered him.
She watches him.
Intently.
Even laughs when Mani gets frisky.
She pulls his fur out.
(Yuck).
He nips at her, but never bites.
It’s like he knows she’s learning him,
And he gently admonishes her.
But never bites.
Taking pictures of Harper taking a step or two today,
She crawled over to him at the window.
And just about the time she pulled her herself up,
Mani went to smell her.
I choose to believe he’s fascinated with her too.
Animal + baby.
Best friends forever.
