I’m beyond thrilled with this lovely image of these beautiful ladies! They are always so sweet and precious, and it helps that mom thinks that pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is comedy show worthy. LOL

Initially, Mom wasn’t going to join in the session – “Oh, no! This is just about the girls! I’m not getting in the picture!” – but, after our pre-session consultation, I convinced her to get ready anyways, and just jump in for one or two shots. Moms, please take the time to take pictures with your babies, young and old. I’m a big advocate for getting in the picture with your children, hence why I started my annual Mom Rocks sessions.

When I showed her this image on the back of my camera, she squealed and said, “Oh my gosh, I’m so happy you told me to do this!”, and I have a feeling she is going to be even more pleased with the final result.

And it’s been a while since I’ve shot any silhouette images, and I told mom that I had it in mind for their session. With the gorgeous sunset we had last night, and the open field that we used, I just knew gods were in my favor for a beautiful silhouette. When I told the girls to give each other a kiss, and made this shot, my eyes welled with tears for the beauty and sweetness that filled my mommy heart. And their mom was equally moved.

Thank you, Bethune beauties, I had such a wonderful evening with you all and Nana – always treat to be around such glowing personalities.
