Oh gosh! What a beautiful lifestyle session I had yesterday in Memphis, TN!
I walked into a photographer’s dream at my client’s home: modern/contemporary style with vintage & antique finds, gray/cream/turquoise colors everywhere, and this most-gorgeous stone wall! Interesting story is that this sweet baby’s father’s family own a flooring business, and they do this type of stone work as well. Back when the business got started many years ago, their company built this stone wall in this house. Then many years later, this house was purchased by these young parents, and it was discovered that the wall has been in their family all along.
And so, this image of my tiny little client will go down as one of the best images I’ve ever taken – the texture of the wall, the soft fur, and one gorgeous little baby named Banks. Like his mommy said, it’s like a Colorado mountain scene in a cabin.
And their dod, Charlie, was quite the entertainer! He is their first baby, and he made sure to let me know he was part of the family as well and he loves to be right in the middle of it all! This vintage sofa belonged to the great-grandmother of baby Banks, and I know she is going to be thrilled to see how we used it with her tiny little great-grandson!
So many great ones from this session and I can’t wait to share them all!
